Ezylife Flow 300 Troubleshooting Guide: Easy Fixes for Everyday Issues

Even the smartest robot cleaners can run into the occasional hiccup—and that’s completely normal. If your Ezylife Flow 300 isn’t working exactly the way you expect, don’t panic. Most issues can be fixed in just a few minutes with a simple check or adjustment.

This troubleshooting guide is designed to help you quickly identify common problems and fix them without technical headaches.

The Robot Won’t Turn On

If your Flow 300 doesn’t power on, it’s usually related to the battery.

What to do:

  • Place the robot on the base station and let it charge
  • Make sure the room temperature is between 0°C and 40°C
  • If the battery was completely drained, allow some time before trying again

💡 Tip: A deeply discharged battery may not respond instantly—this is normal.

The Robot Is Not Charging

If the robot docks but doesn’t charge properly:

Check the following:

  • The base station is plugged in securely
  • The robot is seated correctly on the dock
  • Charging contacts on both the robot and base station are clean
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the contacts—dust buildup is a very common cause.

Wi-Fi Connection Issues

Having trouble connecting the robot to the mobile app? This is one of the most common setup challenges.

Make sure that:

  • Your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz (5 GHz networks are not supported)
  • The Wi-Fi password is entered correctly
  • The robot is close to the router with a strong signal

If setup fails, close the app completely and try the pairing process again.

The Robot Can’t Find or Return to the Base Station

If the robot seems lost or struggles to dock:

Possible reasons:

  • The base station was moved after mapping
  • Objects are blocking the docking area
  • The signaling area is dusty

Quick fixes:

  • Keep 1.5 meters of open space in front and 5 cm on both sides
  • Clean the signaling area with a dry cloth
  • Ensure doors or furniture aren’t blocking the return path

If the robot is far away, manually placing it back on the dock once can help reset its position.

The Robot Gets Stuck Near the Base Station

This usually happens due to space constraints or slippery floors.

What to check:

  • Objects placed too close to the base station
  • Wet or slippery floors near the dock
  • Closed doors blocking the route

Dry the floor and clear the area—this usually resolves the issue immediately.

Cleaning Is Louder Than Usual

If your robot suddenly sounds louder than normal, it likely needs a quick clean.

Common causes include:

  • A clogged dust box or filter
  • Hair tangled in the main or side brush
  • Hard debris stuck inside

Solution:

  • Empty and clean the dust box
  • Remove hair and debris from brushes
  • Switch suction mode to Standard or Quiet if needed

The Robot Misses Certain Rooms

If some rooms aren’t being cleaned:

Check that:

  • Doors to those rooms are open
  • Door thresholds are under ~2 cm
  • Floors aren’t wet or slippery

Wet floors can cause wheel slippage, affecting navigation.

Cleaning Doesn’t Resume After Charging

The Flow 300 is designed to resume cleaning automatically—but only if certain conditions are met.

Make sure:

  • Do Not Disturb (DND) mode is turned off
  • The robot wasn’t manually placed on the dock mid-clean

DND mode is useful at night but can pause auto-resume if enabled.

Water or Mop-Related Issues

Water Around the Clean Water Tank

This is normal. Some water may remain in the pipes after removing the tank. Simply wipe it with a dry cloth.

Mop Pads Not Moving Properly

  • Remove the mop pad holder
  • Check for dirt or foreign objects
  • Restart the robot

If the issue persists, support can help diagnose further.
